Searching and Indexing of Documents and Data
Indexing of documents takes place automatically as documents are added, all the content of the documents are indexed as well as Meta Data. Claromentis indexes the content of all Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Text, Visio and PDF files.
Not only documents can be searched, but in a single integrated environment the user can specify to search documents, folders, web pages, publish folders, forums and mail messages.
Searching is extremely fast, and returned through the users permissions. Documents allows you to use Claromentis CMS to manage web page content, so that documents and document repositories can be put into context for the user. In this way assisted browsing compliments detailed searching.
There is an advanced search and metadata searching fully available. 
All searching is by default returned in reverse order of relevancy, so that the most relevant information is at the top of the list. Additional constraints and order options are available.
