OCR Indexing
The Document Application OCR module works together with the powerful Claromentis Searching and Indexing daemon to provide search and indexing across content in any type of image file format. It searches the words inside a scanned picture, hand written notes, and scanned faxes.
The integration of this functionality is complete, if required the system can be configured to automatically search any particular image file type for any text content. This is then indexed by Claromentis and is fully available in searching.
The scanned files will be automatically previewed by Claromentis, if they are added or imported to thumbnail image folders.
In this way users can also browse for images, as well as search for their content via comprehensive OCR.
