Intranet and Extranet News Systems for Increased Collaboration

Distribution of news is powerful, flexible and needs no knowledge of HTML.

News is set up and launched in the communication administration panel. Key people in the departments in the company can therefore maintain their own news items without having to call on IT or HR for assistance.

Headline news will appear in a prominent area of the home page, and is used for items that are of interest to many people. Detailed news is used to launch items to smaller groups, perhaps all staff of a particular role, or in a project team for example.

News items can be linked to pages for more information, also maintained by the news system, or indeed by Claromentis CMS. This allows for preparation of detailed information ahead of the event, for example press releases, which can be published within a determined date and time range.

News is automatically archived after the expiry date and once there is more than 5 items of headline news.

The entire news archive is fully searchable.
