
Messaging, Alerts & Notification
Instant Messaging, SMS, Notification and Bookmarks all ensure that users are made aware of changes in information that impact them.

As a user I can subscribe to information throughout the Claromentis store, for example documents or forums. This means the system will automatically monitor these areas and inform the user of any changes to that data, or any new data submitted in these areas.
This greatly helps the cultural challenges in launching new portals and intranets – users do not have to check the system to see if any items are of interest to them. They can be notified by email, for example, rather than the messaging system.
Any user providing new information – for example a new document – can select from the users that have permissions to see it any users that should be notified that this new document now exists.
Notifications can be sent by internal messaging, by SMS or by email – depending on preferences and the urgency of the alert.
