The Claromentis permission system is comprehensive, allowing control of intranet pages where typically information needs to be distributed to the various departmental groups, or roles.
Permissions are also available to define access to special pages within extranet areas, as required.
Each editor or and contributor is automatically provided with View and Edit permissions on pages or folders according to their responsibility. This reduces the complexity of maintaining large scale information as the task can be distributed across the enterprise.
